Ag Aithint & ag Bainistiú Buairt & Imní

Is minic go mbíonn tionchar an bhuairt agus imní ar pháistí agus iad ag fás aníos. Uaireanta éiríonn sé iomarcach agus cuireann sé isteach ar imeachtaí an lae don pháiste. Mar thuismitheoir, is mór an tabhacht a bhaineann le do thacaíocht ionas go n-airíonn do pháiste sábháilte agus go dtuigtear iad. Níl na freagraí uilig agat agus tá sé sin ceart go leor! Is mór an tacaíocht é do láithreacht agus do thuiscint agus cabhróidh sé sin go mór le do pháistí. Bí cinnte é a rá leis an múinteoir ranga más rud é go bhfuil aon bhuairt ag cur isteach ar do pháiste.

Recognising & Managing Stress and Anxiety at Primary School Level

Anxiety is a normal part of growing up, but for some children it can feel overwhelming. As a parent, your support plays a huge role in helping your child feel safe, understood, and capable of coping. You do not need to have all the answers. Your calm presence, understanding, and steady support are what matter most. With these, your child can learn to manage their anxiety and build confidence over time. Let the class teacher know if your child may be struggling in this area at the moment.
